The "Agent" has been busy!

My husband, Kirk - a.k.a. the official farm "Agent" - has been busy with outside projects now that the weather is warm. Oh boy, has it been WARM! Too warm, in my humble opinion....85 to 90 degree days with 80 to 90% humidity is not my idea of fun. Anyway, I thought I'd share some photos of his many activities:

Clearing the compost out of the bin (so that I can fill it up again)
Look at all of that "Black Gold!"

And speaking of the compost bin...
I never did share a photo of my pride and joy - which Kirk built last year.
It's awesome, isn't it?
(the board on the front is a piece of a project that I will be sharing with you on a later date)

Installing new lights - the old ones were really tacky looking

Separating the donkey pen in order to move the boy sheep from their old boggy abode
Posts leaning against the hay shed in preparation for the next fencing project:
A new paddock for the sheep!

This little grassy opening was the location of the first donkey paddock. However, we had to take down the pen in order to install a new septic system. Now that it is installed we can fence in a new paddock...albeit a smaller one since the septic mound is MUCH larger than anticipated. In hopes of maintaining the grass, I will rotate the sheep between this and their current pen.

Yep, the agent has been a busy guy...especially considering that he has a full-time job as a family physician!! Wait until you see the most recent project he just completed...
