Aliens in My Backyard

The shearer came two days ago. I wasn't here when he came, so I missed out on all of the fun (ha!). When I returned home, I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry when I saw my sheep. They look TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!! If I didn't know better, I'd swear that an alien spaceship came and replaced my sheep with some strange lifeforms from another planet. For obvious reasons, all sheep look different in their woolen versus shorn state of being. Some look pretty good when shorn and some look kinda weird. Even though I love my sheep very much, I'd have to say that they fall in the latter category. Need proof? Here ya go:

Dove
Belle
Cupcake
Lucy
...who appears to be saying
"alright, move along now - you've stared at our nekkidness long enough!"

I feel the same way when my llamas are shorn. Only a momma can love em'. I bet they feel better. My llamas should be done next week. Dawn

I love the photo you now have as your blogspot header. How cute. Made me laugh outloud! Hope all is well with you this week. My llamas are being shorn on Friday so mine will look a little weird as well... but I love them anyways... like only a momma would.. have a super week.... dawn
