A Sad Decision

I never thought this day would come...the day I "give up" on my dream of breeding/raising horses. However, due to the current economic crisis, the fact that my husband is terrified of my handling horses (he sees horse-related injuries quite frequently in his job as a family physician), and the fact that we really don't live on horse-friendly property - I have come to the conclusion that I should sell my beautiful Kiara. This was not an easy decision to make...and this is not an easy blog entry to type. I have had Kiara since she was a weanling - just six months old. She was such a cute little thing. When she stepped off the trailer she was so wide-eyed and nervous - yet level-headed for such a youngster. Watching her grow has been such a delight - and that in itself has been a gift from God. I hope to find her a new home where she will be treated like the princess that she is...

Awwww. She is rather beautiful...but think of it this way...someone who never thought they'd be able to afford a princess like Kiara I bet would love to adopt her... :(

I'm so sorry. I certainly understand the loss, having cried the afternoon that my colt, Friday, was trailered away from me.
