The Escapee

As I was feeding the sheep this morning Belle saw an opening in the gate (when my back was turned) and decided to make a break for it. No big deal, really, as I let the girls out all of the time in the spring and summer. It was quite comical to see Belle "four-wheeling" through the mountains of snow with a quizzical look on her face as she searched for weeds and grass. If there was a thought bubble over her head I just know it would've said something like "where is that yummy stuff?" I tried talking her back into the pen...telling her that the hay was in there, but she just wouldn't listen to me. So, I had to resort to bribing her back with grain. Perhaps that was her plan all along...?!?

I just found your blog and I love it! I would love one of those hats too, but before you panic, it doesn't really get cold enough here to wear it. Except this week, Sunday was 78, yesterday and today are in 20's. 70's again by Friday. Don't you miss Texas? OK, don't answer that. We miss and love you guys. --Tracye
