I Love Fall!

I cannot remember the name of the Christmas song, but there is a verse that says "it's the most wonderful time of the year." Of course, it's referring to Christmas - which I love. However, in my humble opinion, FALL is the most wonderful time of the year. The leaves are beautiful and their scent wafts through cool, crisp air. Not to mention the fact that the bugs are all gone (something the animals appreciate as well).

Last Saturday, Kirk and I spent the entire afternoon working outside. I did the "Poop Scoopin Boogie" (a song my buddy, Stas, and I created) while Kirk finished up the sheep shelter. At one point, I couldn't resist and had to go hang out with the sheep. The beauty of the leaves and their cute woolly faces looked like a great photo opportunity...so I had to run and get the camera. Here are a few of the many photos that I took:

Six of the nine girls
Sweet Maggie with a leaf stuck to her face

Ella says "Hey, Lucy, whatcha got stuck to your butt?"

"OH...it's a leaf - guess I'll eat it!!

Cute fluffy Polly
Kirk working on the shelter while talking on the phone.
What a multi-tasker!

Your sheep are adorable. Check out the recent silliness of one of mine: http://conniemw.blogspot.com/2009/12/mellie.html
